Recently, the Etorch high-speed blister packaging line was successfully delivered for an AstraZeneca project. The project features the DPH320HⅡ Full-Servo High-Speed Roller-Plate Blister Packaging Machine, providing the customer with an efficient and reliable solid dosage packaging solution through high-speed production, fully servo-synchronized control, and stable blister forming and heat-sealing performance.

The DPH320HⅡ is a new-generation blister packaging machine developed by Etorch to meet the high-speed packaging demands of modern pharmaceutical manufacturers. It is suitable for Alu-PVC (PVC/AL) and Alu-Alu (AL/AL) blister packaging of tablets, capsules, and other pharmaceutical products.
The machine adopts roller heat-sealing and positive-pressure forming technologies, ensuring stable blister formation, flat and neat blister cards, and continuous high-speed production.
In terms of production efficiency, the maximum speed for Alu-Alu packaging can reach 720 blister cards per minute (3 cards per punching cycle), while the maximum speed for Alu-PVC packaging can reach 900 blister cards per minute (3 cards per punching cycle), meeting the high-capacity and continuous production requirements of large pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Key Advantages of the DPH320HⅡ
● 10-Axis Full-Servo Control: Equipped with a Siemens SIMOTION motion control system, the machine enables precise synchronized operation across multiple stations, improving operational stability and control accuracy.
● High-Speed Intelligent Registration: Equipped with registration mark tracking and print-to-blister alignment functions, the system ensures precise matching between the printed aluminum foil and blister cards even during high-speed production.
● Efficient Roller Heat Sealing: The roller-type heat-sealing structure improves sealing efficiency while maintaining reliable sealing quality and supporting continuous high-speed production.
● Intelligent Punching and Material Optimization: The servo-synchronized punching design reduces lateral material waste, improves packaging material utilization, and facilitates automatic integration with downstream cartoning equipment.
In addition, the machine is equipped with multiple safety functions, including material shortage detection, missing-product alarm, air pressure monitoring, temperature protection, and emergency stop.
All product-contact parts are made of 316L stainless steel and materials compliant with pharmaceutical requirements. The overall design fully considers the hygiene, safety, and maintenance requirements of GMP-compliant production environments.
The successful delivery of this high-speed blister packaging line to AstraZeneca reflects the customer’s recognition of Etorch’s capabilities in pharmaceutical packaging equipment design, manufacturing, and project delivery, while further demonstrating the application strength of the DPH320HⅡ in high-speed pharmaceutical packaging.
Etorch will continue to place customer needs at the core of its business, driving continuous technological innovation and strengthening global project services to provide pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide with efficient, stable, and intelligent pharmaceutical equipment and packaging solutions.
