Recently, the Etorch high-speed blister packaging line was successfully delivered for an AstraZeneca project. The project features the DPH320HⅡ Full-Servo High-Speed Roller-Plate Blister Packaging Machine, providing the customer with an efficient and reliable solid dosage packaging solution through high-speed production, synchronized full-servo control, and stable blister forming and heat-sealing performance.

The DPH320HⅡ is a new-generation blister packaging machine developed by Etorch to meet the high-speed packaging requirements of modern pharmaceutical manufacturers. It is suitable for PVC/AL and AL/AL blister packaging of tablets, capsules, and other pharmaceutical products. With positive-pressure forming and roller heat-sealing technology, the machine delivers stable blister formation, flat and consistent blister packs, and reliable continuous high-speed production.
In terms of production efficiency, the machine can achieve a maximum speed of 720 blister packs per minute for AL/AL packaging (3 packs per cutting cycle) and up to 900 blister packs per minute for PVC/AL packaging (3 packs per cutting cycle), meeting the high-capacity and continuous production requirements of large pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Key advantages of the DPH320HⅡ include:
● 10-Axis Full-Servo Control: Equipped with a Siemens SIMOTION motion control system to achieve precise synchronization across multiple working stations, enhancing operational stability and control accuracy.
● High-Speed Intelligent Registration: An intelligent registration and print-mark tracking system ensures accurate alignment between printed aluminum foil and blister packs during high-speed operation.
● Efficient Roller Heat Sealing: The roller-type heat-sealing structure improves sealing efficiency while maintaining reliable sealing quality during continuous high-speed production.
● Intelligent Cutting and Material Optimization: Servo-synchronized cutting helps reduce transverse material waste, improve packaging material utilization, and facilitate automatic integration with downstream cartoning equipment.
The machine is also equipped with multiple safety and monitoring functions, including material shortage detection, product shortage alarms, air-pressure monitoring, temperature protection, and emergency stop functions. Product-contact parts are made of 316L stainless steel and pharmaceutical-grade materials, while the overall machine design takes into account hygiene, safety, and maintenance requirements for GMP-compliant pharmaceutical production environments.
The successful delivery of this high-speed blister packaging line for AstraZeneca demonstrates the customer’s recognition of Etorch’s capabilities in pharmaceutical packaging equipment design, manufacturing, and project execution, while further validating the performance of the DPH320HⅡ in high-speed pharmaceutical packaging applications.
Etorch will continue to focus on customer requirements and drive technological innovation and global project services, providing pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide with efficient, stable, and intelligent pharmaceutical equipment and packaging solutions.
